Product manager and strategist passionate about building at the intersection of people, technology, and business.
I'm Vighnesh — Lead Product Manager at Asobo Education, building technology to make education more accessible for every child in a classroom.
I grew up in Mumbai — India's largest city. To put its density into perspective: if you placed every human alive today — all 8.5 billion of us — into Texas, Mumbai would still be more densely packed. Every trip outside meant passing hundreds of people. That shaped something in me: a deep sense of responsibility toward the people around me, and the ability to build genuine relationships with every kind of person.
Growing up in the suburbs, I made friends across backgrounds, religions, and beliefs — brought together by sport. Soccer, cricket, basketball. Team sports taught me strategy and collaboration. I later captained my college soccer team. And I realised early: great products, like great teams, are built on trust and execution.
I chose software engineering because it felt like the cheapest medium with the power to reach millions. In college, I became COO of the Computer Society of India and served on the Student Council — learning what real leadership looks like: influence, accountability, and bringing the best out of people around you.
"You have to be smart in front of cool guys and cool in front of smart guys."
— A mentor who changed my perspective
